Hi, I'm Kate!

Flowers have been a love of mine for as long as I can remember.  As a child, I spent hours in mother's garden and roaming the fields of southeast Missouri, sticking my nose in every flower I could find.   As a teenager, I worked at Exotic Flowers and Gifts, helping customers and learning the business.  Before opening Cornerstone Flowers, I spent many years as a theatre teacher. I've always loved telling stories and making meaningful memories. Today, I do that through flowers.

I started Cornerstone because I believe flowers aren't just decorations, they are  a way to say "I love you," "I'm sorry," "Congratulations," or simply "I'm thinking of you." Every arrangement is designed by hand with creativity, care, and the hope that it brings a little more beauty into someone's day.

My goal for the shop is simple:  to create beautiful, thoughtful arrangements for the moments that matter. I want to help people say what words can't, and make Cornerstone feel like the neighborhood flower shop where everyone is welcome.
